The Fly Arts Center to Hold Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest During the Fall Art Crawl

The Fly Arts Center during the Bedford Arts Collective Fall Art Crawl on Friday, October 25, 2024 in Historic Uptown Shelbyville. This is a free event to help promote the arts in Bedford County. Come to create a chalk masterpiece or to watch the artists work.
Interested artists of all ages are invited to participate. All participants must preregister at FlyArtsCenter.com for a sidewalk space located in front of The Fly Arts Center building. Space is limited.
Check-in begins at 3pm. Judging begins at 6:30pm and awards will begin at 7pm to recognize winners in the following categories: Best Overall, 1st Place Youth (ages 6-12), 1st Place Teen (ages 13-17) and 1st Place Adult (ages 18+).
Artists are required to bring chalk and all needed supplies. Only non-oil based, washable chalk may be used. All artwork must be appropriate for public viewing by all age groups.
