Summer Art Camps Are Coming to The Fly

Local Area Kids and Teens of All Ages Can Embrace Their Creativity With So of Our Areas Top Artists and Educators

In age-appropriate groups, kids and teens will engage in a variety of hands-on activities, learning new creative techniques, while expanding their overall knowledge of art with our talented staff of local area artists and educators. This four-day camp will include projects for drawing, painting, collage and more!

Two sessions will be offered. The first will run from June 2nd through June 5th and will be dedicated to elementary school aged children. The second session for middle and high school aged kids and teens will go from June 9th through 12th. Participants will take home a variety of finished projects inspired by nature.

Each camp day will be lead by one of our area's top artists and educators. Our impressive instructor roster includes Pamela Warner, Santha Koonce, Crystal O'Neal, Katie Hestla and London Oberleas.

To ensure a high quality experience, we are limiting participation to 15 students for each camp. After this limit has been met, a waiting list will be started. The deadline to register is Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 5pm.

In addition, The Fly Arts Center is looking for local businesses, individuals and organizations to sponsor area children and teens in need. Contact Jody Barnes-Turner at presidentflyarts@gmail.com or 615-476-3274 to support a young, deserving artist by 5/24/25.
