Open Call for Local Artists to Help Revive Iconic Butterfly Benches at The Fly Arts Center

The Fly Arts Center is looking for five local artists to redesign and paint their butterfly benches.
Now that construction on the parking lot in front of The Fly Arts Center is complete and new planted features have been installed by The Stone Depot, the Bedford County Arts Council is searching for five local artists to help breathe new life into their butterfly benches.
"We're looking for creative designs and motifs that showcase the talent of our local area artists," stated Vice President Jennifer Dawn Smith.
Each artist selected will be assigned one of the five benches in the style of their choosing.
