Daniel Lindvig is an artist whose passion for both his subject matter and his chosen medium of pencil is clearly revealed in his unique work. His art has appeared in periodicals and catalogs, in addition to being sold in shops nationwide, including at the historic Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. His piece "Legend of the Fall" won first place at the Carol Ludwig-Loyer Memorial Art Show in Virginia Dale, CO. "Learnin' Tree Cards" also featured his "Passing Presents" Christmas card design from 2017-2020.
The subject matter of Daniel's work ranges from North American game fish and wildlife to western and Native American subjects, and he has been commissioned to do drawings of historic structures and figures. In addition to his drawings, Daniel works with naturally-shed moose, elk, mule deer, white-tail deer and fallow deer antler. He fashions unique, hand-crafted art items, which include table pieces, small table lamps, animal busts, sconces, nativities and more.
Daniel's favorite hobby is fly-fishing. He is a lifetime member of Trout Unlimited, and worked as a fly-cast instructor at Bass Pro Shops in Orlando, FL.
Daniel and his wife Kathy, who designs jewelry from antlers and orphaned vintage pieces, recently moved to Shelbyville, TN. They both look forward to being active participants in the community.
