Everyone is invited to the presentation of “The Christmas Star; An Astronomer’s Journey” conducted by Billy Hix. Hix, who is an internationally recognized educator, will present a program based on a scientific search for the Star of Bethlehem using historical documents and computer simulations.

About the Event

The event is FREE, however tickets are required due to limited seating. Tickets will be available at the Library on November 1.

Do  you enjoy astronomy or just looking up at night? Do you love the  Christmas story about the star in the East? If so, you are invited to  enjoy a performance of “The Christmas Star: An Astronomer’s Journey”.  It’s a journey for all to enjoy.

Everyone  is invited to the presentation of “The Christmas Star; An Astronomer’s  Journey” conducted by Billy Hix. Hix, who is an internationally  recognized educator, will present a program based on a scientific search  for the Star of Bethlehem using historical documents and computer  simulations. As part of the program, you will see a computer simulation  of the night sky in Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago. You will see the  night sky as it looked to the Magi.

Hix  is retired from higher education…
