Simple Watercolors With Coffee
Watercolor painting with coffee involves using instant coffee mixed with water as a monochromatic paint, creating shades of brown with varied textures and an organic, earthy look. The technique is similar to traditional watercolor, requiring proper watercolor paper and a light touch, as the coffee paint lifts easily. Artists build layers of diluted or concentrated coffee to achieve depth and can experiment with effects like sprinkling grounds into wet washes, though wet-on-wet techniques are less effective.
