Pen and Ink Drawing-The Basics

A pen and ink drawing is a type of artwork created by applying liquid ink to a surface, typically paper, using a pen or other tool to create images. This traditional drawing method uses techniques like hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, and ink washes to build up values, textures, and a sense of depth. The final result can range from a simple sketch to a complex composition, capturing fine details and bold lines with precision and creativity.
