The Fly Arts Center houses The Fly Community Theatre, which hosts five or more stage productions each year, including a dinner theatre event in December. Each production is presented in partnership with community members of Bedford County and the surrounding areas. Auditions are open to all.

Our theatre space comfortably seats 110 people, and is situated in the east end of the building, which is a registered historic landmark in Shelbyville's Uptown District.

Get Involved

The Fly Community Theatre Committee meets once a month on the third Monday at 6 pm. All are welcome to attend. We offer a variety of volunteering opportunities for our members.
